The Staff and management team of the San Ignacio Resort Hotel joined the community in Celebrating Belize on National Service Day! After much brainstorming the San Ignacio Resort Hotel team decided to adopt Flamingo Park

Early this week the country of Belize welcomed H.E. Wu Den-Yih, Vice President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on an official visit.  Vice President Wu was greeted by the Governor General of Belize, Sir Colville Young and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Today, San Ignacio Resort Hotel honors the memory of Mr. Escandar Bedran Sr. with this miniature sculpture of the Xunantunich ferry.  Placed immediately at our front desk beneath a painting of the mural of the Xunantunich Archaeological site for all our guests to enjoy.

To honor  the founder of the hotel Mr. Escandar Bedran Sr., a series of events and initiatives were launched. One of these includes the Escandar Bedran Family Hotel Scholarship Program. In celebration of our storied past and brilliant future, we are proud to award the first scholarship to Mr. Edmund Junior Bennett.
