BELIZE CITY, Jan 6, 2012

After witnessing the recent attempt to rewrite their rich history, the Mayan gods must have been thrilled for being graced by the presence of an earthly goddess at one of their sites, Cahal Pech.

The wedding of Philip Leveille and Camille Leveille nee Gentle on Sat. Dec. 29, 2012, did not disappoint in this regard.

The bride wore a flowing white gown adorned with gold and silver trim, a crown-like veil befitting the stature of the aforesaid goddess.

The proud mother, Margorie Gentle nee Kuylen and Rudolph beamed with pride at this milestone of their 35 years of marriage at Holy Redeemer Cathedral in Belize City.

The father, Rudolph, is better known prior to leaving for the USA having served three government institutions namely, Police Special Force, BRD and Prison Department, and in the discipline of athletics back in his younger days as an athlete, coach and serving member of the Managing Committee of the Belize Amateur Athletic Association.

The guests were treated to an exceptional reception at the San Ignacio Hotel which included amongst other attractions, an hour-long rendition of Garifuna drumming and dancing.

The bride, Camille, is presently a cell scientist at Pfizer Pharmaceutical in New York and the groom, Philip, is a medical intern at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, USA.
