Sail Away!

The San Pedro Junior Sailing Club has been the talk of the community over this past week for their latest victory at the Placencia Regatta – an annual festival of food, drinks, games and entertainment in Southern Belize. The Juniors have been amazing everyone because of their continuous winning spree since the beginning of the year and dedication towards this refreshing sport. 

This past weekend Jerdon Anderson, Christian Trejo, and Faith Noel all top the top three places, respectively, out of 46 competitors in Placencia! (Kudos!) However, they have also been extremely successful in other competitions located Belize City, Corozal, and Buttonwood Bay. 

If you would like to see the San Pedro Junior Sailing Club and other competitors rigging hard and in action, check out the next regatta in San Pedro on July 5th and 6th. It’s definitely something not to be missed!
