Oh, Canada…start packing your bags. WestJet just announced its new direct trajectory from Calgary to Belize! This flight will become effective on November 3rd, 2017 and it’s part of their seasonal schedule for the winter of 2017-18 which includes 125 flights in and out of Calgary, as well as Vancouver and Toronto.
“WestJet currently operates a seasonal flight from Toronto, Canada from October to May, therefore the Calgary – Belize flight is a welcome addition that will further boost Belize's tourism industry. The new flight is exciting news and it underscores BTB's unwavering marketing efforts in promoting Belize as a growing, viable and a must-go destination,” said Mrs. Karen Pike, BTB's Director of Marketing and Industry Relations.
Increased service is provided to business and leisure travelers who now have more access to our beautiful Jewel. Canada represents 7% of visitors to Belize and we are positive that with this new international flight we will host many more valuable visitors in our country.
