Former NFL Athlete Weds in San Ignacio, Belize

NFL season is here! And for those who love the sport…this is perhaps one of the most exciting moments of the year. But for us at our luxury Belize resort we feel inspired to revisit one of the most amazing Belize destination weddings—featuring former NFL superstar, John Michels!

Last year December, we had the honor to host the marriage ceremony of Green Bay Packer’s former offensive tackle, John Michels, and his wife Radha at the Xunantunich Maya Site. The couple had a private ceremony on top of the 130ft-high temple “El Castillo” showcasing spectacular views of Belizean rainforest.
