At 5:45 AM on Tuesday October 9, Belizing.com came to the San Ignacio Resort Hotel for our on-site early morning Birding Tour. They filmed what will soon be episode 3 of their mini-series “A Day in a Birder’s Life”. Our luxury resort is known as “the only jungle in town” and its 17-acres of private jungle property make it a prime location for bird watching. We boast “Breakfast with the Birds” because of our avian visitors who regularly swoop by to say hello and grab a quick bite to eat from the trees surrounding the hotel. From Collared Aracaris to Yellow-Breasted Flycatchers to the infamous Keel-Billed Toucan, you can expect to see dozens of birds from our restaurant deck. We keep several binoculars on the deck for our guests to use. Read more about our tour with Belizing.com here and you can find more information about our Birding Tours here.
