This month, National Geographic Travel published its top 9 best destinations to spend Winter in 2018 – “from winter wonderlands of snow” to places that offer a “escape to sub-zero temperatures”. There’s a paradise for everyone. 

It is with excitement that we announce that “Mother Nature’s Best Kept Secret” aka Belize, made the list along with other breathtaking destinations including Japan, Vienna, Vietnam, Antarctica, and other beauties. So what does Belize have to offer to those looking for a wintervention?

Not only is the former British Honduras the only English-speaking country in Central America (big plus) but this destination offers both the Northern Hemisphere’s biggest barrier reef and a large concentration of the sought-after Scarlet Macaw inland.
