12.22.12 at San Ignacio Resort Hotel

On 12.22.12 San Ignacio Resort Hotel honored and celebrated “The New Era of Maya Culture.” Maya families from the surrounding villages gathered along with guests, staff, and visitors to celebrate. The day included the Salute the Sun Ceremony by Mr. Silvero Canto of San Antonio Village, Cayo, Maya artisan showcase, and Maya food.
