On site activities include guided or unguided tours of the Green Iguana Exhibit, the medicinal and jungle trails, or bird watching and hiking.  These are all easy and short walks within the 14-acre resort compound.

Our tour company, Cayo Gial Tours, provides experienced guides for tours to nearby archaeological sites such as Xunantunich and Cahal Pech, or the Mountain Pine Ridge area and Caracol.  We also offer trips to Tikal in Guatemala.  Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, canoeing and caving, all available in the Cayo district.  We can also make arrangements for tours to other parts of the country.
